Hello Usman,

Would you please provide more information about the behavior you get - is an error thrown or the X button is not displayed? It will also be helpful if you can provide a live url and reproduction steps along with the most possible details.

Sincerely yours,

Hi,

It appears that in the latest version of Telerik (Q3) that if the IsSticky Property is set to true on a tooltip, then the ManualClose property is ignored, which was not the case in previous versions.

Hello guys,

Straight to your questions:

Usman, please make sure that you are correctly uploading all the files and especially the latest RadControls build - such a difference in the behavior on local machine and on production server is very unlikely. Please, also provide a live url for test purposes, if possible (if you do not want to share it in public, open a new support ticket and provide it along with detailed reproduction instructions).

Demetri, the X button used to appear when you set the RadToolTip's ManualClose property to true. However, now the ManualClose and the Sticky properties are obsolete - they still can be used but we do not recommend this because problems may occur especially when using both of them in a combination because this scenario is not a valid one. I strongly recommend to use the new property which replaces them - the HideEvent property which is demonstrated here. Please, replace all the occurrences of the obsolete properties with the new ones and test again.

This being said, if the replacement of the old properties does not help and you are not using a skin different than the ones listed in the skinning demo, I will need to examine your code - please open a new support ticket and send me a sample, fully runnable reproduction demo along with reproduction instructions.

All the best,
