Hello, I'm using Telerik Reporting R3 2023 to produce reports in PDF format. I use the stand alone report designer to design the report definition and our application uses Telerik Reporting to generate the report. I have a text box with a "Toggle Visibility" Action that works correctly when I preview the report in the stand alone report designer. When I click the "+" button, it toggles the visibility of another text box:

However, when I use our application to generate the report to a PDF or HTML5 format, the "+" button isn't there:

Any help is appreciated

Hello Rick,

The observed behavior is expected and is related to the rendering format.

Please, note that in Telerik Reporting there are interactive and print/print preview export formats. The former supports full interactivity. The particular action Toggle Visibility requires the report to be re-rendered with the newly shown or hidden items. For that reason, print-oriented rendering formats such as PDF do not support this action. In the viewer, when you click on the expand/collapse mark, you trigger a new report rendering.

You may check our Product Sales online demo as an example of Toggle Visibility and how it is displayed in Interactive View mode (default) and PrintPreview mode. More details may be found in the article Interactive and Print Layouts.
