A toggle/Slider switch control would be a nice addition to the Telerik Winforms Controls Collection.

A lot of Windows 8.x and soon (10) applications use such controls and they have become familiar to everyone these days - but it seems there is no equivalent control in the WinForms Collection.

Hello Martin,

Thank you for writing.

We do have a feature request for such control logged in our feedback portal. You can subscribe for status changes here: http://feedback.telerik.com/Project/154/Feedback/Details/109809.

I am happy to announce that this is currently under development and we will be aiming at Q2 2015 for its release.

I hope that you find this information useful. Should you have any other questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

Hi Stefan,

I hope this toggle switch can be used for navigating to  a specific page. For example, based on the toggler state

1. If its set to true > display login page

2. If its set to false > display logout page (just for an example)

We are looking for a similar feature to use in our application. Please let me know if this is available for usage.

Hi Rajesh,

Thank you for writing.

The RadToggleSwitch control is already part of our suite and the required scenario can be easily implemented. You can refer to the documentation for detailed information on the exposed API: https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/winforms/buttons/toggleswitch/properties-methods-and-events.

I hope this helps. Should you have further questions please do not hesitate to write back.

Hristo

HI Hristo,

Thanks for your information and it really helps our requirement. Also I wanted to know if this feature can be used as part of sitefinity without actually spending efforts on implementing.

As  I mentioned earlier here is our requirement.

Need to toggle to a specific page based on the toggle switch value [ON/OFF] in our website. We have a website[which uses sitefinity] where in based on a flag [On/Off], we need to display a specific page. So if sitefinity already allows to use this control/feature without any major modifications in terms of code, that would be of great help to us. Please let me know more about this in terms of sitefinity.

- As we already have sitefinity license, I think we need not buy this control again. Is this correct?

- If there is any ready made tool available, would it be part of sitefinity license or we have to buy it ?

Please suggest.

Thanks,

Rajesh

Hi Rajesh,

This thread discusses the toggle switch in Telerik UI for WinForms. For any Sitefinity related questions, you can refer to their documentation or forums

As to the licensing question, the DevCraft suite is sold separately from Sitefinity. More information on what is included in the DevCraft bundles is available here: https://www.telerik.com/purchase.aspx.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Hristo
