TimeBar like range selection in TimeLine

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a TimeBar like range selection possible for TimeLine.
I'm currently testing Telerik Radcontrols for a new version of our planningssoftware.
It would be a nice feature if users could select a range in TimeBar and see all the changes that happen in that range.
For instance if they select a range from 05/15/2013 to 06/15/2013 they could see TaskX ended, TaskY started, ...

Hi Kenny,

When the SelectionMode of a RadTimeline is set to Extended, a user can select a range of items by drawing a rectangle. You can see it in action in our Selection demo here and for more information you can check this help topic.

Does this satisfy your requirements?

Hello Peter,

I'm aware of this feature. But, Range selection in TimeBar is much more appealing, direct and clear than 'drawing a rectangle' in TimeLine. I guess that the answer to my question is 'no'.
No problem then, I will try implement this feature myself with a Slider and RangeSpan.

Just a quick follow up. You can use an integration of the two controls in this case - RadTimeBar and RadTimeline. For additional information, please refer to this forum post.

In case this does not fit your requirements as well, indeed, you can implement this behavior yourself using a slider.
