I implemented the exact same thing in my site...and I`v checked it separately as well, my query is returning values correctly.
Everything is working fine but still its giving a message box with a message "The Webservice method GetProducts failed."
Please help...

Could you provide more information about your configuration: ComboBox definition, WebService code, etc.?
Additionally, could you provide the steps needed to reproduce the issue at my side?
