We are not aware of any problems with the spam protection of RadCaptcha. I would suggest checking the captcha's section in the documentation as well as its online demos to ensure you have configured the control properly.
If the problems persist, please send a simple, runnable page that isolates your case so that I can inspect it locally and provide a more to point answer.
