Hi
I am getting this error when i load a report in designer
Could not load file or assembly 'Telerik.Reporting.Design.Interfaces,
Version=6.0.12.215, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=a9d7983dfcc261be' or one of
its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
I have attached the screenshot for this error
Can you please help me figure this issue..

Hi Zohaib,
The Telerik.Reporting.Interfaces namespace is included with the Telerik.Reporting.dll assembly. This error may be associated with the wrong version of the assembly reference. There are a couple of steps to fix this and these are as follows:
Step 1 - Ensure the correct version is installed as described in the Telerik Reporting Version=6.0.12.215 thread.
Step 2 - Change the reference to the correct version in Visual Studio as noted in the below screenshot.
Please give this a try and let me know if the issue still persists. Thank you.

I think the idea of having a design.interfaces is a good one, but it needs to be implemented in a way that makes sense for both the developer and end-user, who are two separate groups. The developer should not have to worry about how their code is going to be used by an end user, they should just write what they need to write and then let the designer figure out how it will be used.
