telerik Reporting Beta1 available for download

It is our pleasure to announce the availability of Beta 1 of telerik Reporting. Based on the feedback we got from the CTP versions, we managed to improve the product and enhance its feature set.

Here is a list of the more important changes we have done in Beta 1:

1. Added three new report items:
- Subreport
- Panel
- Shape (lines, polygons, stars, arrows, cross).

2. Added a number of report item events
- Item Added/Removed
- Item Data Binding/Data Bound
- Item Begin/End Render
- Report NeedDataSource
- Report Begin/End Render
- Begin/End Render Report Page

3. Introduced new processing model

4. Design time improvements
- Style Builder

5. Documentation is now included

6. Added a number of new examples

7. Added VisualBasic.NET version of the sample projects

After installing Beta 1 and opening the project I got an error message (An error occurred while processing this command. Value cannot be null.  Parameter name: component)

When do you expect the next beta release?  Also, do you have a list of current fixes and known bugs at this time.  This will save me a great amount of time testing your product.  Along with using all of your current tools, my company has great interest in using this report generator.  Thanks

The next beta can safely be expected in about two weeks.

As to a list of known issues, we do not have such at the moment, although such is on our agenda. Nevertheless, the forums can give you an idea what is planned to be fixed.
