My legacy application uses the following:

- Visual Studio Professional 2022

- Telerik Report version Version=7.1.13.802

- Windows 11

- .NET Framework 4.8

The report definition file (.cs) shows blank when double-clicking on the file.  Does anyone encounter this issue and if yes, how do you go about to make the report renders so it can modified?  Please advise.

Hello Khoi,

Thank you for the provided information about the setup!

The Telerik Reporting Q2 2013 SP1 release of the product does not support Visual Studio 2022. The Visual Studio Report Designer is installed with installers specific to each Visual Studio. The only option would be to use Visual Studio 2012 for that version of Reporting.

The first version that officially supports Visual Studio 2022 is ProgressĀ® TelerikĀ® Reporting R3 2021 SP1 (15.2.21.1110). Please consider updating to that or a newer version if you need to use Visual Studio 2022.

If you choose to upgrade, I would suggest taking a look at the Telerik Reporting Upgrading Old Projects to the Latest Telerik Reporting - Telerik Reporting article for information on some of the more important changes.

I hope that the provided information will help resolve the issue!

Regards,
Dimitar
