Telerik KendoUI Grid for web next and previous buttons not working

Hello, I am developing an ASP.NET Web Forms Application where I am using Telerik KendoGrid. The paging seems to work fine when I click on page numbers but the next, previous buttons and other advanced paging options are not working. Is there a way out?

For your convenience, I`ve created, tested, and attached a solution with a Telerik KendoGrid and a short screen recording demonstrating how the demo solution is working on my site.

Please compare my solution with yours to find what is different and let me know if any questions arise. 

Another approach is to use the RadGrid for ASP.NET AJAX control in your ASP.NET Web Forms application since the control is built exactly for ASP.NET Web Forms projects. You can check its getting started tutorial here and here.
