Telerik Form Templates in VS2005

Hi,
     Telerik Form templates (radform,radshaped form...) are missing in Visual Studio 2005. Am using Telrik v.2012.1.12.215.

All form templates are visible in Visual Studio 2010 project. What will be the solution for it?

Hello,

I'm unable to replicate this using the latest version of the controls and VS2005, however, this may be a temporary issue on your set up. You could try the following:

1. Open a Visual Studio 2005 Command Prompt
2. Use the following command:
   devenv /setup
3. Wait for the command to finish

I tried with command u said. Still in vs 2005 not able  add any radform.
Is that latest telerik version supports vs 2005 or not?
Because in vs 2010  by default it comes.

Hello,

Yes, it is supported. If you are using Windows Vista, then you need to install the Telerik Controls as Administrator. There is also a help article here that assists for this issue with VS2008. I am pretty certain that the resolution will be the same for 2005.

Hi, 
    
     Am using windows XP. Actually i installed telerik setup using  "TelerikUltimateCollectionSetup_2012_1_214.exe."
I tried with what u said. But am not able to find Templates folder inside C:\Program Files\Telerik\RadControls for WinForms Q1 2012.
Am newer to this. So please guide me if any other problem.

Hello,

Please close Visual Studio and also try running the following command from a Visual Studio 2005 Command Prompt

devenv /installvstemplates

I'd suggest re-installing Telerik RadControls for WinForms at this time. Let me know how it goes
