We are evaluating the product for our project purpose. The following we wish to achieve:

a. In the calendar control, the user should be able to select dates and inside the date select the ranges either predefined or user selected.
b. Calendar control to distinguish the dates with color combinations....ex: If a day is selected or day is selected with all options or day is selected with partial options...Options i mean is having time range defined already in the system.

Would appreciate if you could let us know how this can be achieved which will enable us to work with product and take it forward.

Although the functionality you request is not supported out-of-the-box by RadCalendar, you may consider implementing a combination of the custom solutions available in the code library section of the product:

and particularly those two of them:

http://www.telerik.com/community/code-library/aspnet-ajax/calendar/disabling-calendar-days.aspx

Additionally, you may utilize SpecialDays if applicable to attain the desired effect.
