I have successfully deployed Rad Tab Strips before, but I have one that is now causing me some grief. No matter what settings I try, when I build my project the tabs only show up as Text. They do work (each tab is linked to a multi page view) but there is no "design" to them.
Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas on how to fix it?

Hello Royal,
Probably, the base and skin stylesheets didn't get served to the page. Please, see if you can identify the problem in the Web Resources Troubleshooting topic.
A sure way to resolve the issue is to register the base and skin stylesheets manually as shown in this help topic.

Hi Peter. I registered the skins manually, but it still did not work. Here is a little more background:
I have other Telerik controls on my page (RadGrid, RadMultiPage, RadDatePicker, RadFormDecorater) and they do display correctly. I am also able to create a new "empty" page and the RadTabStrip *will* display correctly.
The TabStrip looks "correct" in Design view, but when viewed through a browser the tabs show up as just text links. The CSS is being read, as the links to change color on mouseover (IE when set to skin "Black" the text turns lime green).
I am open to any suggestions or work arounds.
Thanks!

Here is a little more info; when I select "Sitefinity" as the Skin the tabs function and display as I would expect. When I choose any other skin all I get is black text.

Do you use RadSkinManager or RadStyleSheetManager and if yes how have you configured them. Can you try without those controls and check if this makes a difference? If you have a live url you can send it and we will test it too.

No Skin or StyleSheet Manager is in use. I do use a custom theme in some areas, but not this one. Code is currently only internal, so I can't show you the actual build :(
I have presented it to the customer using the Sitefinity skin, and they seem to like it, so I guess we can mark this as closed. If I encounter something like this in the future I will resurrect this thread.
Thanks again.
