Hello everyone,

This is related to Firefox 3.1 beta 3 and RadTabStrip, it will save some time as I am sure I am not the only one.

Firebug 1.4.0a12 worked perfectly with Firefox 3.1 beta 2, until beta 3... as I upgraded to RadControls Q1 final at the same time, I thought problem was from Telerik but not at all.

How to reproduce the problem with FF 3.1 beta 3 and Firebug 1.4.0a12 :
- RadTabStrip alone with Firebug : no problem
- RadTabStrip alone without Firebug : no problem
- RadTabStrip inside a RadAjaxPanel with Firebug : no problem
- RadTabStrip inside a RadAjaxPanel without Firebug : no problem

-> RadTabStrip inside a RadAjaxPanel with Firebug, AND use TabClick server event : problem !, tab is not selecting whatever you do

Solution for now :
- Disable Firebug 1.4.0a12

Have a nice day !

Hi YodaKIRI,

As stated on our Browser Support page, browsers in BETA stage are not supported. In addition, Firebug 1.4 is still in ALPHA stage.

All the best,

Hello Paul,

I know but I wanted to share this information as we are developers and not end users... do you really know a lot of developers that are working only with final products ?

As a developer in real world who is building a product with new technologies I am working with alphas and betas, no choice and I need tools to debug, and I would like to say that you (Telerik) send newsletters and blog posts about your testing beta products.

I did not request support, I gave valuable information, we all know that you can not give support for beta browsers and external plugins.

It was my 2c.
