I use RadTabStrip with some RadTextBox controls. If I press the Tab key to switch to the next textbox nothing happens.
The Tab key has no function for all textboxes in a RadTabStrip.Tabitem. I use new newest Version

I'm experiencing the same problem.  It's simple to reproduce, drag on a RadTabStrip control and give the default tab a title.  Next drag two RadTextboxes onto the tab.  Run it.  Tab key does nothing to move from one text box to the other.

The CanFocus property on most of the Rad items in the control is set to False.  I'm still seeing if I can find a work-around.  This is a pretty serious bug.

Hi guys,

This is a known issue and it will be addressed in an internal build in the first week of January 2010. For the time being, you can use the internal build that we released shortly after the official Q3 2009. This release is the latest version that does not have the described issue.

You can find the internal build (for customers) at Your Account >> Downloads >> RadControls for WinForms >> Older Versions >> 2009.3.1103 >> Latest Internal Builds.

For our trial users the path is: Your Account >> Free Trials >> RadControls for WinForms >> Older Versions >> Latest Internal Trial Builds.

If you have additional questions, feel free to contact me.

Kind regards,
Nikolay

Hi,

What is the status of this issue?
I need to release to customer in 2 weeks, and am not allowed to release internal builds or beta version.
If no new version is available I will need to downgrade my Telerik controls.... what is the latest official release that does not contain the issue described?

Thanks,
Jaap

Hello Jaap,

Generally, it is safe to use the internal build since it is based on the Service Pack 1, and the only differences between the build and the SP1 are listed in the release notes of the build.

However, in case you want to use an official release, the latest official release which does not contain the issue is Q3 2009 (2009.3.9.1103).

All the best,
Nikolay

Hi,
I´m using the RadControls_WinForms_2009_3_1203_dev, but still have the problem.
Should I download the "internal build - v2009.3.10.108" ??

doesn´t the 1203 correct the issue ?

Thank you !

sorry, in fact the correcy version is 2009.3.9.1203
So the 2009.3.10.108 (latest) corrects the issue.

Thank you !

Hello guys,

Actually, 2009.3.9.1203 is the version that contains the issue and 2009.3.10.108 (an internal build) is the version where the issue has been addressed. If you do not want to update to an internal build, I am glad to inform you that our official Q1 2010 will be released later this week.
