HI Team,

 

We are getting this exception while updating new teleirik version for MVC "Telerik.UI.for.AspNet.Mvc5.2025.1.211"

 

System.TypeLoadException: 'Could not load type 'Microsoft.Practices.EnterpriseLibrary.Common.Configuration.Manageability.ConfigurationSectionManageabilityProviderAttribute' from assembly 'Microsoft.Practices.EnterpriseLibrary.Common, Version=6.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35'.'

 

we are not able to fix this in any way can you please help us on this?

Thank you for reaching out.

We are not familiar with this error, but you can try these two steps in order to resolve it:

1. Ensure that the project is using System.Web.Mvc 5.3.0:
https://www.telerik.com/aspnet-mvc/documentation/installation/system-requirements/os-support#visual-studio-support

2. Try updating the .NET libraries:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/28509827/could-not-load-file-or-assembly-microsoft-practices-enterpriselibrary-configurat

Thanks for the reply,

I have ensured both the steps as you have mentioned , but still facing the same issue.

This is happening with only the latest version of KENDO MVC.

Please let us know how we can proceed on this. I appreciate your help
