We are using the latest version of the 2008 Q3 ASP.NET AJAX controls. One of our clients is complaining that when they open the Document Manager in the Rad Editor, they immediately get the following error:
Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: An unknown error occurred while processing the request on the server. The status code returned form the server was: 12031
Here are the odd things about this error:
- We cannot duplicate this error.
- They only get the error when they are on their work network, or connected to their work network through VPN at home.
- If they are running the application from home without being connected to the work VPN, they do not get the error.
- They only get the error when editing one "object" in our system. If they edit a different "object", they don't get the error. When they go back in to the trouble "object" it will work if they successfully opened the document manager while looking a different "object".

Hi Adam,
The problem is caused by network connection problems and our suggestion is to contact your network administrators. If the dialog url is very long then the firewall or other program could block it and causes the problem.
