In the silverlight report viewer, when you print and click on "Current Page" (in the "Print Range") it always prints page number one no matter what page you are on. Typing the Page number in the "Pages" selection of "Print Range" works fine (as a work around).

Hi MiddleTommy,
Peter

I assume that you are using the Adobe's plug-in for printing. We have verified the issue and can confirm that such a problem really exists. The issue is logged in our bug tracking system and will be fixed for a subsequent release.
Your Telerik points have been updated for letting us know about the problem.

I did not know it was using Adobe's plugin to print. Is there a way print without Adobe? Not all my users have Adobe Reader installed.

Hi MiddleTommy,
In Q3 2010 we have migrated to Silverlight 4, introduced Silverlight Native Printing and made it the default choice for printing for the Silverlight Report Viewer. You can switch between the two options with Silverlight Report Viewer's UseNativePrinting property. Generally the greatest benefit from using the Silverlight Native Printing is that you do not need the Adobe's plug-in.

Peter

I am using Q3 2010 and I dont see UseNativePrinting as a property for the silverlight report viewer.
I download the latest nightly and used the upgrade wizard just to be sure and I get this compile error:
Error 1 'Telerik.ReportViewer.Silverlight.ReportViewer' does not contain a definition for 'UseNativePrinting' and no extension method 'UseNativePrinting' accepting a first argument of type 'Telerik.ReportViewer.Silverlight.ReportViewer' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

Hi MiddleTommy,
This is a general error and means that the old version of the assemblies is still in use. Thus our suggestion is to check the version of the referenced assemblies, remove any old version occurances and rebuild the solution. If you still experience any troubles, we will appreciate if you open a support thread and send us a sample project that exhibits the issue to debug locally.
Best wishes,
Peter
