Show popup on click of image in a gridview

I have a datagrid with an image column. On click of that image i want to show a pop up.
Can you please help in implementing this using MVVM pattern?

Hello,

 You can declare the image in a CellTemplate for desired columns and invoke desired command of your view-model where you can open the popup.
