SharePoint 2010 RadEditor - ImageManager Upload

Hi,

We wish to use the ImageManager to let users upload images to the /PublishingImages library and at the same time let the user enter relevant image data (i.e. title, keywords, author, description, etc.). How can we implement this?

Another question is regarding the image upload scope. Is it possible to upload images to a different sitecollection? If this is not possible out of the box, how can we go about implementing this?

Last question is regarding image search. Is it possible to search for images based on their content type fields (or taxonomy/metadata)?

Hi Mohammad Ishfaq,

I answered to two of your questions in the other support thread that you posted. However for your convenience I will paste the answer here as well.

Regarding the first request review the following help and KB articles:

They will help you understand how to modify the built-in editor's dialogs.

Regarding the scope of the images RadEditor for MOSS can access only images form the current site collection. This is a limitation of the specially MOSS designed content provider, which comes with the control. You can try to implement your own content provider, which meets your needs.
