This is maybe a difficult request, but it will be nice to be able to use the recurrence edit form UI separately from the advanced edit form.

The closest I can find is from this thread: http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/aspnet-ajax/scheduler/using-only-the-scheduler-recurrence-as-form-template.aspx#757824
The problem is that this requires a full scheduler control and scheduler events handling.

I like to be able to have a custom form and able to add the recurrence UI without adding an entire scheduler to the form. And it will be nice to get the recurrence string directly when saving data without going through the appointment object.

So telerik team, please consider creating a separate control for the recurrence UI. Maybe named it RadSchedulerRecurrence?

Thank you.

Hi Hart,

You can check our advanced template example which is located in [RadControlsInstallDir]\Live Demos\Scheduler\Examples\AdvancedFormTemplate\. It uses a set of user controls which mimic the appearance of the advanced edit form. You can check the SchedulerAdvancedEditForm.ascx which contains the recurrence UI.

I hope this helps,

Thank you for the reply. I found it in the SchedulerDefaultForm.ascx. It will be quite a task to untangle just the recurrence panel, but I'll give it a try.
