Hi Amrinder,

Currently this functionality is not supported, but I will add it as a feature request in our internal system. If we receive more requests for the same functionality, we will schedule it for investigation.

Hi There.
I agree with Amrinder that you should have "seconds" as one of the baseunit options. We have used Kendo UI throughout our website but now we need to look for other controls for graphs just because "seconds" option is missing. Greatly appreciate if you guys could added it soon.
Thank you,
Manohar

Did this functionality get added in July of 2013 as indicated in your previous post? It still seems to only support minutes as the smallest base unit.

The Q2'13 release supports seconds as base unites. See this live demo.
I hope this helps.

I apologize, when I initially stumbled upon this post I was searching for an answer regarding a line chart within Telerik Reporting, not DataViz. So although my question is under the wrong topic, I'll still go ahead and ask it here so I can explain what I meant. In the report designer, for a line chart, if I go into XAxis and make the scale "DateTime", then the only selections I get for LabelUnit are "Years, Months, Days, Hours, Minutes, and Auto"... there is no choice for seconds, which is the precision I need for this particular chart within my report. What can I do to achieve this? Thanks in advance.

Hi Pete,
If the required precision is required to show small ranges of time, you can switch to a NumericalScale and set the axis LabelFormat property as to a custom format string and display customized labels.
It would be helpful for us if you share more details about your scenario, data and the need for seconds precision on the DatetimeScale.

Stef
