Hello,

a fast question. Is it true that Telerik Reporting (WPF) is not able to print RTF?

I'm currently looking for a new reporting tool and this one looks interesting, but RTF is a must have requirement.

Hi Raul,

Telerik Reporting supports outputting the reports in the following formats: Image, PDF, HTML, MHTML, Excel 97-2003, XLSX, PPTX, DOCX, RTF, XAML and CSV.
RTF exporting is one of them and it is available for WPF Applications. For more information, please refer to Rendering Extensions and Design Considerations for RTF Rendering help articles.
If you are interested in our product, you can download a trial version and launch our demos in order to explore what is included. If you want to use WPF Application, you can check our examples, which can be found on the default install path - C:\Program Files (x86)\Progress\<VERSION>\Examples.

Hello,

I don't want to export to RTF (at least not now). I want a component within the report to display RTF content. All other reporting tools I know have a RTF TextBox or a property to switch the TextBox to RTF. Very simple, but I can't find anything similar in the Telerik Reporting tool.

Hello Raul,

Telerik Reporting can only handle some rich formatting in as a HTML. RTF is not supported for input.

My suggestion is to use some third party RTF to HTML converter and use the converted result in HtmlTextBox. The conversion should be done in an user function. Than you can use the user function in HtmlTextBox value expression.

Hello, four years later of this answer. Is is still not possible to insert a RTF created in RadRichTextBox into a Telerik Report???
