Rounded bars custom visual

I'm creating a custom visual for a bar chart series to have rounded bars and am having difficulty getting it to work. Does anyone have a custom visual for a bar chart series to make horizontal bars rounded on each end of the bar?

Please have in mind, that after I checked it, it was not working and giving a js error. I can assume that some changes were made after the link was shared.

I modified the provided example to work as expected:

Also, I can suggest the following example, it is with vertical bars, not horizontal:
