Hi All,
We are using Telerik reporting control with subreports (master detailed kind of stuff) placed into design section of main report. When we export the report to PDF, we see exactly double the number of pages as displayed in the report.
Report is exported to pdf in a weired manner. First page displays main report data and next page displays only value from sub report.
The same problem is happening with the print option also.
Could you please help me out, digging this problem?

Hi,
I'm having the same problem and think it has to do with the latest update, since this problems started after updating the Telerik Reporing.
Haven't found a solution for it jet.

Hi guys,
Our online examples are using the latest version (Q3 SP2) and the ProductLineSales catalog report, which consists of master-detail relations works as expected. Also the service pack has been release about a month ago and you are the first one to report such a problem. Please provide more info or best of a runnable report that shows the unexpected behavior.

Telerik Reporting demos can be found locally (default path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Telerik\Reporting XX XXXX\Examples for 64bit machines and C:\Program Files\Telerik\Reporting XX XXXX\Examples for 32bit machines). You can refer to 'Invoice' demo report to see the sample implementation of master-detail relation.
If you are still experiencing difficulties, please open a support ticket and attach a sample runnable project that reproduces this issue.

Hello Doli,
The report is rendered and paged according to the rules described in the following help articles:
The report is divided into pages based on the report's PageSettings, the size of report items and sections and KeepTogether properties of sections/items.
Most of the report items are not kept together by default. If you have a Table/CrossTab item in a subreport, set KeepTogether=False for this item as by default it is kept together.
Also, test resizing the report sections and items of both master report and subreport and check their KeepTogether properties.
In order to provide you more accurate suggestions, open a support ticket and send us the report definitions so we can check them locally.

Based on the attached screenshot it is not possible to identify the cause of the issue. Send us the problematic reports in a support ticket so we can test them locally.

Hello Katia, I have a problem with the export report to pdf. I have created sub report and put in my main report. I have set the property which you have suggested but didn't . please help us. you can see in attach my sub report display in next page. please find attach the file.

Is there any versioning issue? we are using R2 2016.

Hello Doli,
This is not a known issue. Based on the attached screenshots, my suggestion is that the size of the report sections is too big and you might need to reduce it in the designer.
To provide you further suggestions, we would need to check report definitions (not the rendered reports). You can attach them the support ticket.

Hi, Thank you for a reply. I have multiple reports in the main report but only one report is displayed in next page when I export to pdf. please suggested for how to take support ticket.

"The possible reason for the blank space in the master report is that the report's width becomes larger than the page width. Note that the SubReport item expands both horizontally and vertically to fit its content. Thus, depending on the location of the SubReport item and the page width selected in master report's PageSettings you need to consider the width of the detail section of the subreport - please check this video explaining this scenario.
More considerations for report layout are described in this help article.
Also, test applying the troubleshooting approaches suggested in Problem: Telerik Reporting renders blank pages KB article."

Thank you for the reply. I have resolved that issue but when export to pdf generate the blank page. I have check page width and margin etc..Can you please suggest anything. to resolve the issue.
