I have a report with a table for data columns. The table has its own data source, and the data source is returning data. However, the table does not show when I generate the report. It has been set for Visible, so this is not a problem, and there are no bindings on it. What else is there that could make it not appear?

Indeed, the issue sounds strange. If the Table has its DataSource assigned to a source that returns valid data, I don't see an obvious reason for the report not to display the table if the rest of the settings are the default ones.
Are there any errors or messages shown in the report?
Can you send us the report definition for local investigation? Please, include also some dummy data to make it runnable.
