Hi

I am new in telerik reporting.how to create and use report in web application
can i use dropdown in telerik report. i need to create dynamic report like when i
passed parameter the report the content of the report will be changed based on data from database

how to i create it ? its Urgnet

I have following problem now

Failed to map the path '/'.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.InvalidOperationException: Failed to map the path '/'.

But its working in XP i cant run in Vista

I dont know whats the problem and how to solve it

can i use drob down in telerik report ?
becz i have to create report based on the selecting drob down value

How to make group  in report

I need sample project  can u send me

Hello Azees,

No, you cannot use dropdown in your report, only the report items included in the Telerik Reporting Toolbox i.e. the items listed in this help article: Understanding Report Items.
Once again note that you do not need dropdown inside the report itself, but you can achieve this functionality with the help of our report parameters (see links from previous post) or even your own UI.
The error you've got is a generic .NET error and can be encountered under Vista when you're not running Visual Studio as Administrator.
