Where are Connection Strings stored after adding in Report Designer?

I have searched my local drive after adding a new entry and can't seem to find the config file anywhere.

Thanks

Hello Justin,

The data source wizard ask you to save the connection string in the application configuration file, if you choose not to, then it is saved within the report itself.

If you refer to the standalone report designer, then this file is Telerik.ReportDesigner.exe.config and is located right next to the Telerik.ReportDesigner.exe file. If you refer to the integrated Visual Studio designer, then the configuration file depends on your application e.g. for Windows Forms it is app.config, for web site/application it is web.config.

Kind regards,
Steve

Hello everybody. I've looked into my Telerik.ReportDesigner.exe.config file and didn't find any of many connection strings saved on my Telerik.ReportDesigner.exe. Where are these many connection strings are saved? I'd like to remove most of them and edit some others. Tks for supporting.

Have you tried the new visualization options in Telerik Reporting Q1 2013? You can get them from your account.
