[Solved] Report Behavior Binding

We have been running in a little bit of an issue. We have tried adding a binding to the report itself for culture to be linked to parameter but it wont change the culture of the report. We can set the binding on individual text boxes and it works fine. The other issue is from what we have found is that the culture of the report is supposed to be defaulted to the what the locale is for the computer that is running the report and we have a few international customers that are reporting that is not working.

I attempted to reproduce the issue you described with the culture binding of the report; however, on my end, it was correctly set. For your reference, I have attached the sample report I used.

Can you please review the sample and let me know whether it matches your scenario? Additionally, do you reproduce the issue when using this sample report?

As a side note, you may also consider trying the approach mentioned in the How to Pass Culture to the Telerik Reporting REST Service from the Report Viewer article to see whether it works for you.

Regarding your second observation, you are correct: by default, the culture is taken from the server where the REST service is hosted. I assume you have already tried to work around this by passing the culture dynamically via a report parameter (as mentioned in your first point). If we can resolve that issue, it should address this limitation as well.
