Hi,

My project involves displaying products in RadGrid. I would like to reorder rows using RadGrid's drag and drop feature wherein after reordering the row, the order should be autosaved to the database.

Is this possible and if yes, then how? I'm looking for the code on an urgent basis. Any help on this is highly appreciated.

Many thanks,
Ritika

If you are looking to save the Grid's current layout you could look into this documentation article which shows you how you can approach the saving aspect of your potential implementation.

Hi Schlurk,

Thanks for your reply, However this isnt what i was looking for.

I need to know if there is a way in RadGrid where i can drag and drop a row to reorder and then if this new order can be autosaved to the database directly.

Any code / documentation on this will be highly appreciated!

Many Thanks,
Ritika

Hi Ritika,

Please review this online demo for more information on how you can implement RadGrid items drag and drop.

Give a try and let me know if any issues arise.

Hello Iana,

This link is currently not working, is there any current example of column reordering and being able to save the new configuration somewhere else?

Thank you.
