I am currently working on a project that relies heavily on nested data. Today I saw here, that the TreeList component is listed under "Our Long-Term Vision". But there are no more informations than that.

Now my question is: Are there any more informations on the side of the Kendo UI for Angular team about this component?

My project must be done until january. Is there a chance the component will be available before that (or even a preview version of the component)

If not, what are some good alternatives? The main goal is to display some nested data in a simple table-like manner.

Thanks alot!

Hi Marco,

The TreeList component is indeed a part of our long-term vision, and we are planning to start working on it next year, but currently our efforts are focuses on the Scheduler, some continuous Charts and Grid enhancements, major DropDowns features like grouping and virtual scrolling, and a major new component - the Editor.

I can suggest using the Kendo UI for jQuery TreeList in the Angular application (as described in the following integration article) until a dedicated Angular TreeList component is released:

https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/framework/kendo-jquery/

I am also attaching a sample application that utilizes the described approach and has a functional TreeList within the Angular app. I hope this helps.

Hi Bill,

Thank you for the feedback. We have already listed the TreeList in our long term vision of the road map:

You may also vote for the TreeList component in our Feedback portal on the following link:
