Recurring event issue when editing one occurrence

I create a current event, let's say it's 3 days long.
I edit the middle occurrence.
The calendar now displays ONLY the middle event that I just edited.  The other event is still listed in the datasource, but it no longer shows up on the calendar.  Why?

There are some known issues related to recurring events and creation of occurreces/exceptions, which are addressed in the latest internal build. I will suggest you download it and give it a try.
Also in the official BETA of Q3 2013 release the widget works just as expected. Here is a simple jsBin demo and a screencast of my test.
