Is it possible to allow the scheduler to exceed 100% width of the browser window?

My application uses the RadScheduler to view the schedules of up to approximately 18 resources side by side.  When viewing more than 8 resources 1280 x800 the columns in the RadScheduler start to become too narrow.  I would like to have the scheduler stretch beyond the boundaries of the browser window.  Is this possible with the RadScheduler?

Thanks,
Al

Hi Albert,

We are planning to introduce horizontal scroll support, but this will not be ready for Q2. Until then I can only suggest you a workaround. You might wrap the RadScheduler instance in a scrolling panel. For example:

<asp:Panel runat="server" ID="SchedulerPanel" Width="700px" style="overflow:auto;position:relative;"
    <telerik:RadScheduler runat="server" ID="RadScheduler1"
        OverflowBehavior="Expand"
        DataKeyField="ID" DataSubjectField="Subject" DataStartField="Start"
        DataEndField="End" DataRecurrenceField="RecurrenceRule" DataRecurrenceParentKeyField="RecurrenceParentID"
    </telerik:RadScheduler>
</asp:Panel>

Then adjust it's size to hide or show the scrollbars:

protected override void OnPreRenderComplete(EventArgs e)
    base.OnPreRenderComplete(e);

    if (RadScheduler1.SelectedView == SchedulerViewType.MonthView)
    {
        RadScheduler1.Width = Unit.Pixel(1000);
        SchedulerPanel.Height = Unit.Pixel(590);
    }
    else
    {
        RadScheduler1.Width = Unit.Pixel(690);
        SchedulerPanel.Height = Unit.Pixel(700);
    }

This is nowhere near a perfect solution, but I hope that will help you in the mean time.

All the best,
