Hi,
We have created a new application using Telerik Rad Controls for WPF, and using the current Release Q2 controls.
When the application is deployed in Windows 8, RadRibbonWindow does not show the Window Resize buttons (minimize, maximize & close) in the Top Right corner.
These buttons are properly seen if deployed in windows 7 or any other OS.
Please find the attached screen shot where the issue is captured.
Kindly suggest.
Thank you & Regards,
Phani.

Hi Phani Kumar,
Thank you for this report.
We are aware of this issue in the RadRibbonWindow control working in Windows 8 OS.
And it is already fixed in our latest internal build(s). This fix will be also included in our next official releases.
You can try our latest internal build, where this issue is resolved.
Please, let us know if you still experience any problems with the RadRibbonWindow control.
Kind regards,
Vladislav

Hi Christian,
We believe, that the issue with the missing system buttons missing in Windows 8 is fixed at least for basic scenarios. If you still experience this problem, this means that your project(s) are somehow different.
Is it possible to send us your project (or the relevant part of it) in order to further investigate the problem?
Thank you in advance.

I agree with Christian that no buttons(Close, Minimize and Maximize) are displayed on my RadRibbonWindow on Windows8.1. My version of Telerik controls is 2012.1.0215.40
I created the project using .Net 4.0
However, I verified that these buttons are displayed on Windows8.1 using Telerik version 2014.2.0729.45 on projects that are built on .Net 4.5

Hello Debopam,
Unfortunately RadRibbonView does not support Windows 8 with the 2012.1.0215.40 version and there is no easy workaround for this. The only solution that I can suggest is to upgrade the version of the Telerik binaries.

Sia
