Hi!
The RadLabel text property can contain HTML. Before -in the first release of the Telerik controls I had installed- the property in the VS2010 toolbox had a little button that called a dialog which contained an HTML editor. However, since the last 2 updates that little button has disappeared and I can't call this dialog anymore...How can I get the dialog back?
Tia,
Martin

Hi Martin,
Thank you for contacting us.
Unfortunately, I am not able to reproduce the issue. I have tested the scenario with the latest three versions of RadControls for Winforms and it seems that the popup is there and it opens the editor. Would you please let me know which version you are currently using? Also, please make sure that you have an installation of our controls, which will put the assemblies in the necessary places. Further, please share any details concerning your machine and the RadControls for WinForms installations that you have.
I am looking forward to your reply.

Hi Boryana,
Thanks for your reply. The project configuration wizard tells me that the currently used version is: v. 2011.3.11.1219
The OS I'm using is Windows 7 Professional SP1
I installed the Telerik controls a couple of months ago. After the first update came, this button disappeared. About a week ago the 2nd update came, and the button is still missing. The upgrades did run automatically, I just answered 'yes' to the notification with question if I wanted to upgrade.
The paths for the Telerik WinControls are:
C:\Users\Martin\AppData\Roaming\Telerik\Updates\RadControls_WinForms_2011_3_11_1219_dev_dlls\Bin\Telerik.WinControls.dll
C:\Users\Martin\AppData\Roaming\Telerik\Updates\RadControls_WinForms_2011_3_11_1219_dev_dlls\Bin\Net40\Telerik.WinControls.RichTextBox.dll
C:\Users\Martin\AppData\Roaming\Telerik\Updates\RadControls_WinForms_2011_3_11_1219_dev_dlls\Bin\Telerik.WinControls.UI.dll
C:\Users\Martin\AppData\Roaming\Telerik\Updates\RadControls_WinForms_2011_3_11_1219_dev_dlls\Bin\TelerikCommon.dll
If you need any more details, I'd be happy to provide those.

Martin

Hi Martin,
Thank you for the provided details.
It seems that the issue comes from the process of upgrade. Our team will investigate the issue and we will do our best to fix it in a future version.
Would you please try uninstalling RadControls for WinForms, downloading the latest version from our website and then installing it on your machine? This should make the button reappear. Please let me know if the issue persists.

I just had this issue when doing an upgrade (to 2012.1 321) via the IDE... button is now gone.

Hello,
Thank you for writing.
The Upgrade Wizard downloads the latest version of our suite, however, it does not register the dlls in the GAC. Thus, your project requires a version of the RadMarkupEditor dll that is not cached. The issue is already logged to our system and we will do our best to address it soon.
The easiest workaround it to register the dlls located in the C:\Users\YourUser\AppData\Roaming\Telerik\Updates\RadControls_WinForms_[version]_dlls\Bin folder to the GAC. You can simply drag them to the C:\Windows\assembly folder or use the gacutil: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ex0ss12c%28VS.80%29.aspx.
Please excuse us for the caused inconvenience. Please write back if you encounter further issues.
