Hi,
We are trying 'RadControls for Asp.Net Ajax'.
Our project architecture is mentioned below and all layers are on different servers.
- Application Server
- WebService(s) Server
- Database Server
Application/ Presentation layer is communicating with the Webservices and Webservices/ Webmethods then communicating with the Database via tiered architecture. We will be dealing with lakhs of records in various modules/ sections of the application. Our worry is, how teleric grid will be handling such a huge data for Filtering/ Sorting/ Paging etc.
Can you please provide suggestions/ details considering above scenario?

Your help will be really appreciate.

Hello,

I already answered to your support ticket. As I mentioned, RadGrid is very flexible control and can be fine-tuned to handle large amounts of data for minimum time. You can examine some our performance-related online demos below:
Virtual scrolling with client binding
Client-side Binding and Caching
300 000 rows with LINQ

If you need more general recommendations and performance tips I would recommend that you take a look at the Top Performance section and Telerik TV videos

Hello Sabarinath,

You can combine client-side caching and virtual paging if you are using client-side binding.
