RadGrid Export to Excel without ReadOnly

Is it possible to export to Excel without the file opening as Read Only?  I have looked at every option and example and simply do not see the option/parameter to make this happen.

Is it opening in protected mode? The demo found here: http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/grid/examples/export/biffexport/defaultcs.aspx opens in protected mode as it's a spreadsheet from another machine. That's not a limitation of RadGrid, that's a feature of Excel. I can't test it as I'm running on an older version of Telerik stuff.
