Hi Ajit,

Unfortunately it is a known problem currently that the client-side show/hide column feature does not work in Safari for Mac. The issue is logged in our bug-tracking system and hopefully will be addressed with a future release. Please excuse us for the temporary inconvenience.

Has this been resolved?  I have a similar issue with expand/collapse on Mac OS

Hi Dan,

The issue discussed in this thread is resolved and you have test the default show/hide columns behvaior of the Grid with the latest releaze of the control in the following live demo (from the Show/Hide option in the Demo configurator) :

https://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/grid/examples/client/clientsideapi/defaultcs.aspx

Is your implementation the same? Are you getting a different result? In addition, you can see two more possible approaches for achieving such behavior in the follwoing resources:

  1. How To Hide Column from the Grid Context Menu
  2. Dynamically show and hide columns on the client

Thank you for your response.

My actual issue is similar.  Apparently with Safari 13.1, I lose expand/collapse functionality to RadGrid detail tables.  This worked well previously until Safari 13.1 was installed April 10, 2020.  I reinstalled original version of Safari 11.1.2 and expand/collapse worked well.  Mac OS auto installed the latest version of Safari and expend/collapse no longer expands. The expand/collapse works well on Explorer and Google browsers.

Is this a Safari or a Telerik update issue? I assume Telerik.

A second but similar issue. With paging on the RadGrid the ability to move to pages other than page 1 does not work. Clicking any other page the grid stays on page 1.

Hi Dan,

If an issue occurs after Safari upgrade, while using the same Telerik version, it is most probably related to some change introduced in the latest update of the browser. In order to be able to confirm that, though, or to suggest you a way to workaround it, I will need to reproduce the problem at my end. Can you, please, send me a simplified version of your project with some dummy data, so i can replicate the behavior at hand and debug further what is causing it?

Can you also check where there are any JavaScript errors thrown when both during collapse/expand and page navigation?
