Radgrid client side bind

Hi,

We are using Radgrid and binding it server side but we want to export the grid to excel, but the server side exporting is not working for us, can you please help us with exporting to excel using client side binding?

We tried a link but its is not working for us: http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/aspnet-ajax/grid/performance-issue-when-exporting-a-large-number-of-records-to-excel-is-it-normal.aspx

Hi,

As explained in this documentation, Exporting with client-side binding is not supported, RadGrid should be bound server-side, otherwise you will receive an empty file. Hope this helps.

hey Princy,

I am surprised to read, Client side binding is not supported with exporting.

I am using Radgrid and binding with Web-API (i.e http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/grid/examples/data-binding/client-side/declarative/defaultcs.aspx ).

using "RADGRID BOUND TO REMOTE ODATA SERVICE" to bind grid. 

if you find any solution to export this grid. do let us know.
