RadGird with WebUserControl as EditFormTemplate

I am using a WebUserControl mode for popup editing.  I want to include some javascript in the WebUserControl, however, it seems like the included script is never evaluated.
I have tried wrapping my client script block inside a radcodeblock and that did not help either.

Any ideas on how to get around this or is this a limitation of the popup.  Please advise.

i guess I need to create a pop up window.  Would have been nice to avail of the grids direct editing capabilities. Please let me know if there is a way to include javascrip in a pop up editing form using a custom web usercontrol.
