RadeditorPlaceHolderControl youtube video

I am trying to embed a Youtube video using the RADEditorPlaceHolder control version 4.1.5 in MCMS 2002. I have tried what was recomended in the thread Javascript Stripping but it didn't work, as tags in the javascript are still bein g stripped out.
Is there a way to do this with version 4.1.5 of the RadEditorPlaceholderControl

Hi Dimitri,

Make sure that AllowScripts and AllowSpecialTags properties are set to true.

AllowSpecialTags is set to true, but the version of radeditor control that we have does not have an AllowScripts property instead it has an AllowServerScripts property which is also set to true. But the java script tags are still being stripped.

 

Is there anything else we can try.

Idealy we would like to add a button or dialog on the RadEditorPlaceHolderControl toolbar tha will take some parameters and paste the javascript but I haven't been able to work out how to do this and

Hi Dimitri,

RadEditorPlaceholderControl Lite does not support custom dialogs and the control itself is no longer supported. I tested however your scenario with AllowSpecialTags set to true and as you can see from the attached video, the control is working as expected. Could you please check the movie and let me know if I am missing something?
