Update:
I took the files I needed from the site that did not work with the controls and moved them into a site that does. I don't understand what happened, but at least can move forward now. I'd still be interested to know what happened if anybody knows of this kind of issue.
Hi, I am hoping you can help. I downloaded the trial version of your controls this past week. I have installed the RadControls onto my computer (AJAX version).
If I create a new website, the controls are visible. If I open my existing website, the controls are not available. The Group exists, but says there are no usable controls when viewing an aspx page.
I thought maybe something in the web.config might contribute, so I replaced my original web.config with the web.config that was created when creating the new website. No luck.
I am using Visual Studio 2008 on Windows Vista.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I just opened another of my sites and the controls are visible, so there must be something wrong with the site I initially opened. If anyone has any clues or has run into this before, I'd be glad for a tip.

Hello Stephen,
Although I cannot say for certain what might be the exact reason for the odd issue you encountered, I suggest you add our components manually to the toolbox (if not present under an existing web site) by following the instructions from this help article.
Furthermore, you may check whether clearing the VS cache and restarting your development environment makes a difference.
