Rad Ajax Manager for ASP.NET Ajax No Controls Display

I'm using AJAX Manager v2008.2.723.35 with Visual Studio 2008, and when I open the control to "Configure" AJAX Manager, there are no controls. There is only one Checkbox for "Controls" and if you click on it, it errors with: "This node cannot be checked". I could have sworn it was working before I upgraded to Q2 2008. Any ideas?!?!
I'm using VS2008, Master/Content Page.

Indeed, this is a VS 2008 related problem described in details for example in this blog post. Note that the SP1 of VS 2008 has fixed that so you can install the new version in order to work with the AJAX Manager designer in MasterPage scenario in VS 2008.

Thanks for the information.
I installed VS 2008 SP1 Beta along with the .Net 3.5 SP1, it did fix the control display problem, however, after configuring the Ajax Manager, it doesn't work at all. I configured a simple grid, and even on sorting, a full postback is performed.
I just do not believe that VS 2008 is completly ready, and I just do not believe Promethus is completly ready to work with it.
I am an avid fan of Telerik and have used the control for years, but I'm going to have to sit this one out until everything is married better. I realized that this is a major move from individual controls to a common .dll built off the Microsoft AJAX archetecture, but it just aint there yet, and I got lots of apps to write. Little dissapointing.
