Hi,

When the QuickAccessToolbar of the RadRibbonView has many items added to it, not all items are visible or accessible.  Is there a way to cause the QuickAccessToolbar to grow in size (i.e. double in size)?  Or is there a way to automatically add items that are not visible to overflow?

Thanks,
Trang

Hi Trang,

I tried to reproduce your issue but was not able to (I have added 15 buttons in the QAT and all were visible and accessible), so could you please send us a sample project which illustrates the problem?

Hi Viktor,

The problem actually is evident when the QAT is full and additional items are added.  The additional items are not visible.  I see the problem when the QAT is above or below the Ribbon. I'll try to create a sample project that illustrates the issue.

Thanks,

Viktor,

It is easy to replicate this issue by shrinking the overall size of the window until it's not wide enough to accommodate all items in the QAT. Can you try this and see if you can reproduce?

Thanks,
Christina

Hi Christina,

Now I understood what you meant and managed to reproduce the problem. I have logged this issue in our PITS under name "RibbonView: When there are too many items in QAT some of them are not visible" and it will be ready for tracking and voting tomorrow the latest. Thank for your cooperation.

I found another issue related to resizing the QAT, which I expect has the same root cause. If the QAT is moved below the ribbon while in this state of not having enough space for all icons, it goes completely blank. I have also found that QuickAccessToolBar.SizeChanged only gets fired when moving the QAT back and forth between above and below and when resizing while it's below. It doesn't fire when resizing while it's above the ribbon.

Thanks,
Christina

Hi Christina,

Thank you for getting back to us and sending the additional information. I updated the bug log in our PITS - the task can now be tracked from here.

I also updated your Telerik account for this feedback.
