Hello,

I have a question about the drag functionality that allows to select multiple points in a series.

When I click and drag the cursor from left to right, I can see the rentangle that highlights my selection.

When I click and drag the cursor from right to left, the rectangle does not appear but the dragEnd event fires and the points Iwas trying to highlight were selected correctly. I just didn't have the visual feedback.

Is this normal or is there a problem with my chart?

Thank you in advance.

Hello Yan,

If this occurs when performing drag by holding the shift key and dragging the mouse, then the visual rectangle should be shown in both directions:

As this is not a known issue, if additional assistance is needed, we will need a fully runnable example and we will gladly investigate what may be causing this.

Hi Stefan,

Thanks you for your response but here is a little more info.

My chart is a mix of Scatter and ScatterLine and I am not holding the Shift key to make the selection.

Unfortunately, my application is too complex to easily provide a workable example here but I am including a picture. Maybe that can give you more info.

Thanks again!

Hello, Yan,

Thank you for the clarification.

Still, the described issue was not observed in a more complex Chart as well.

I do understand that providing am a runnable example in complex applications is not always possible, but a live URL of the application can also prove very helpful for inspecting the issue.

We will be expecting an example or a live URL and we will gladly assist further.

Regards,
Stefan
