Hello Sameh,

We were not able to reproduce such a problem and printing from the online examples works just fine. Can you provide more info - which Silverlight version you're using, which browser and steps to follow when trying to reproduce.

All the best,
Steve

Hello Steve,
I have both Silverlight 4 and 5 installed on my machine, I tried from IE9 and google chrome
then I tried from my MacBook from Chrome and Safari and the same result,
after the report generated i click print button and choose the printer and click OK and nothing happens.
then i tried to print to PDF, I choosed the Adobe PDF printer and the default file name then OK, then the progress bar appeared and pass less than 50% and dissappeared and no file saved (no error message appearing).
today also i tested it from another machine and i got the same result .

thank you

Hi Sameh,

Please go to http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/Get-Started/Install/Default.aspx and provide us with the version it lists i.e. the one being used by the browser. We just found a problem with the print when you're using Silverlight 5 and native printing and we're currently investigating the problem. For the time being to workaround the problem, set the UseNativePrinting property of the viewer to false.

I just ran into this issue too. Any update? Will it be fixed in the upcoming release?

TIA
