Hi,
I was looking at your samples and thougth that "Client-side caching" could be a solution for me.
So I messed arround a bit with the sample and found a strange behavior.
To explain it step by step.
Go to http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/grid/examples/client/caching/defaultcs.aspx
Enter 5 in the filter Texbox below the ID - and choose "Less than" from the filter dropdown.
---Works like a charme - 4 Recods shown "Page 1 of 1" in paging.
Now choose no Filter from the dropdown - all records are back.
Next choose page 3 from the pager menu.
You have a page starting with ID 21.
Next again enter 5 in the filters edit field of ID
Again choose "Less than" from the filter dropdown.
And - NOTHING HAPPENS!!!!
When you choose page 4, 5, 6 and so on -- you stay on page 3!
Except when you choose page 1 - than the filter works.
Is this a mistake in the sample - or a bug in grid?
Regards
Manfred
