Hi there, 

Is it possible to do something like this (http://bl.ocks.org/GerHobbelt/3732612) in Kendo using a scatterLine chart?

Hello Stephen,

I am afraid such customization is not possible, neither we have such selection support. What the Kendo chart provides is demonstrated in our online demos:
