Dear Telerik,

could you please consider supporting either tags or the css veritical-align attribute for the htmlTextBox.   We write a lot of reports that require footnotes and hence it is useful to subscript parts of the text in a report to achieve this.

Thanks,
Jason

Hello Jafin,

Thank you for contacting us. For the time being we offer text formatting options only, but we would have your suggestion in mind when adding new functionality to the HtmlTextBox.

Sincerely yours,
Steve

Hello Morten,

This is logged as task in our features list and would be considered for implementation in subsequent versions. We cannot engage with a time frame at this time.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
When do you think it will be implemented?

Hi Ristogod,

We've been working on performance and memory optimizations for the past few releases and have not added new features to report items. Currently this is logged in our system with low priority and once we start working on it, we would update our Roadmap.

Best wishes,
Steve

Hi Telerik,

Is there any news on this matter?
My customer has a need for adding text with the support for formulars. By using at least sup and super text.
My idea was to use the html-textbox.

I have just tested your new release, and the support wasn't added.
Is there another way to accomplish the need?

Looking forward to hear from you.

Kind Regards,
Morten

Hello Morten,

If you need 2 or 2, as a workaround you can pick up a font that supports sub/sup script two characters. For more info see:

For random text, there is no workaround that we can offer.

Hi again,

Thanks for your quick reply.
I need much more than just the number 2. What is the roadmap on this matter. "Formatted text"... or formulars in general...

I just need to know what to tell the customer...

Kind regards,
Morten

Hello Morten,

As mentioned in earlier posts, this functionality is logged in our TODO list, but we cannot give you a specific time frame and this is the only answer we can give for the time being.
Another possible (not perfect) workaround until then that I could suggest involves HtmlTextBox and specifying different font size for the sub/sup text. Here is an example:
Regular<FONT size="1">minimized</FONT> Text
