Placeholder for empty RadRichTextBox

Hi there,

very simple scenario - we have a RadRichTextBox and want to show a placeholder (ghost) when there is no content in it.
Same behavior like WatermarkTextBox

Found no simple solution for this... or I have overseen something..

Hi Andi,

There is no simple solution to this. What you can do is create a custom layer that displays the placeholder text. The text will be removed when the user starts typing. I have attached a small example that shows how this can be implemented.
